ENVR Blue Thumb

Event Description:

The Oklahoma Conservation Commission has a branch in charge of the “Blue Thumb” water monitoring program that has developed a network of trained volunteers to monitor surface water across Oklahoma. The Environmental Science Club is a Certified Blue Thumb Volunteer group who is in charge of monthly sampling of a creek in Stillwater. In January 2025 we reserved AG-137 and AG-139 for the Blue Thumb group on the Saturday and Sunday of training. One of our Environmental Science Club members who is already certified will serve as the “host”. The group will need access to AG-137 and AG-139, as well as restrooms and the ability to leave the building for lunch and return for the afternoon session.
